Can I Hold On To My Insurance Money?

received insurance proceeds but did not replace your roof, your insurance company will deny your claim.
How long do I have to file a claim?
Homeowners are responsible for notifying the insurance company of damage and then filing a claim. With most insurance policies, you
have one year from the date of damage to file a claim. If you choose NOT to file a claim and leaks occur in the roof, the insurance
company can deny your claim stating that it was homeowner negligence.
How long do I have to get the new roof installed?
With MOST policies, you have 180 days to 1 year to complete the work and collect the depreciation the insurance holds back, but review
your policy to be sure.
How long does it take for a routine roof installation?
Routine roofs can typically be installed in one day, without weather interference. As a precaution, we only strip one section at a time,
to make sure your home is NEVER exposed to the elements overnight. Plus, we guarantee a complete cleanup after the job. You will
